Skeleton Series No.1: Steampunk

This is the lightsaber that can be born from complete artistic freedom!

The Skeleton Series is a design idea I have had since the Claw of Darkness Dooku saber.

It is a spine-centred, exposed crystal chamber lightsaber with fine details and a complex shape.

To start this series, I took a deep dive into Victorian-era machines and created the Skeleton Series No.1 Steampunk saber.

It has a hand-bent bronze spine with fine copper details, and an exposed brass crystal chamber with a mechanical spinning crystal chamber.
The crystal is made from an automotive lightbulb and quartz crystal shards bonded together, creating this copper-caged mechanical visual!

The wood parts are made from Zebrano wood. Brass details were added to create the barrel shape.

All metal parts are hand-shaped and brazed together. The saber has a 27mm deep bass speaker in a separate wood speaker pod. During the build, the pod can actually swing up, allowing the chassis to slide into the saber’s body. It is now secured in place with copper pins.

The electrics are:
Proffie board 3.9 with motion activation
KeepPower battery
27mm bass speaker
Miron Sabers PCBs all around
30-pixel Neo accent strip
Rotating crystal chamber
USB-C charging and data connection
